Celery Root Gratin
serves 4
Ingredients
1 ea orange slice, round, 1/4-inch, with rind
1 1/2 lb celery root, 1/8-inch slices
1 ea bay leaf
6 oz Fontina cheese, large grate
1/4 lb prosciutto, thin sliced, small pieces
Instructions
Boil celery root, orange slice, and bay leaf in salted water for 5 minutes to soften root.
Assemble in layers in greased baking dish - root, cheese, prosciutto. Make three layers.
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
Plate and serve.
